How familiar is this saying when things don’t go as planned with your health and fitness?
“I shouldn’t have done that…”
From my experience, this is ONE people tend to say to themselves far too often, myself included. Let’s look at some typical examples:
I SHOULDN’T HAVE…
- Eaten that extra slice of pizza🍕
- Had that extra pint🍺 or glass of wine🍷
- Watch a movie instead of doing a workout🏋️
- Had that extra time in bed rather than getting up earlier💤
My question for you is simple:
WHY NOT?
Sure, if these things are negatively impacting you in some wya and stopping you from achieving your goals then yes, addressing the is important.
Do not get me wrong, I’m NOT saying go crazy and live an unhealthy lifestyle. I love being fit and healthy.
Yet, I also love eating what I want and when I choose to without it negatively impacting me in any way.
Why shouldn’t you…
- Enjoy pizza
- Have that extra pint of glass of wine if you choose
- Have that extra time in bed if you need to rest – listen to your body
- Watch a movie and have a night OFF
IF you are achieving what you want with your health and fitness, then life is for living and enjoying.
What if there was another way where you can have the best of both worlds:
- A healthy body and mind
- Enjoying foods you love when you choose to, yet if you don’t choose to have them then that’s OK also
All without JUDGING and second-guessing yourself all the time whilst maintaining BALANCE in your life.
