Is there something fitness related that you really would like to achieve, yet find it difficult to stick to this new fitness habit within your busy routine?

 If I’m honest running is something I’ve been wanting to do each week but have struggled with.

I thought I would share with you some simple tips that make it much easier for me to keep the habit of running going.

 

  • Placing my shoes on the back door mat – acts as a visual reminder
  • Placing my training gear out the night before – Saves time & energy for me early the next day
  • Finally, once I’ve prepared what I need I close the bedroom door to stop Jasper from pinching my socks

I hope these simple (starter steps) helps someone who is struggling to get going with a new fitness habit.

Hopefully, you can now see how easy it can be to get going.

Rather than simply saying ‘Just do it’, this may work for some people yet often in my experience this way of thinking doesn’t last!

Therefore, making the process as easy as possible to get started with a new health habit is crucial for building consistency
